Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

1. Introduction

UNIQLM ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website uniqlm.com and the UNIQLM learning platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using UNIQLM, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration details (name, email address)
  • Profile information (display name, profile photo)
  • Learning preferences and educational goals
  • Content you create, upload, or share on the platform
  • Communications with us (support requests, feedback)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, learning progress)
  • Log data (IP address, access times, referring URLs)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.3 Information from Third Parties

When you sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. Signing in on its own does not give us access to your Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Calendar. Separately and optionally, you may connect your Google Account to the in-app assistant — that connection is described in Section 3 below.

3. Google Workspace Connections (Optional)

UNIQLM offers an optional integration that lets the in-app assistant work with your Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive on your behalf. This connection is never enabled by default, is separate from signing in with Google, and can be revoked at any time. If you never connect your Google Account, nothing in this section applies to you.

3.1 What We Request and Why

  • Calendar (auth/calendar) — to place study-plan blocks on your calendar, read your existing events so we can avoid scheduling conflicts, and remove blocks we previously created.
  • Send email (auth/gmail.send) — to send an email on your behalf when you explicitly ask for it, such as emailing yourself a study summary or reminder. This permission does not allow us to read your inbox.
  • Drive files you use with UNIQLM (auth/drive.file) — to create, open, and manage only the files you create through UNIQLM or explicitly open with it. This permission does not grant access to the rest of your Drive.
  • Basic identity (openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile) — to show you which Google account is connected.

We deliberately do not request Google's restricted permissions: we cannot read your Gmail mailbox, and we cannot browse or search files in your Drive that were not created with or opened through UNIQLM.

3.2 How We Store and Use It

Connecting stores Google authorization tokens in our database in a record bound to your account and protected by row-level security, so no other user can read them. Tokens travel over encrypted connections (TLS) and are used only on our servers to call Google APIs on your behalf. We never see your Google password.

Google data is retrieved only to carry out the specific action you asked for in the app, and we do not store copies of your calendar events, emails, or Drive file contents beyond what is needed to complete that action. When you ask the assistant to reason about such content, the relevant excerpt is transmitted to the AI subprocessor listed in Section 5 solely to produce your answer. We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3.3 Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time from Profile -> Settings -> Connections inside the app, or from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting from within UNIQLM revokes the authorization with Google and deletes the stored tokens from our database.
